What is A Custom Orthotic
A custom orthotic is a prescribed medical device. Orthotics are designed to improve the biomechanics of your foot, provide control and proper support. They will change the way your feet interact with the ground, controlling abnormal motion and thus reducing stress on joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Correcting the foot with a custom orthotic while walking, running, and standing will improve your overall alignment of the knees hips and spine often reducing painful symptoms felt throughout the entire body.
At the Burlington Foot Clinic we create our orthotics using a three dimensional digital scan of the feet ensuring the custom orthotics are accurate and fully custom for your foot.
Styles can vary infinitely and will be dependent on your foot type and the style of shoes the orthotics will be worn in. Home to The Burlington Clinic are our Pedorthist, Chiropodist or Podiatrist will do a comprehensive assessment to ensure that you receive the best possible for your lifestyle.
At The Burlington Foot Clinic we have a dynamic team of professionals to provide you with the highest quality. Our staff consists of Pedorthists, Podiatrist and Chiropodist all working together to ensure your orthotics are done right for you.
